I am starting a new IMOG project, Professional Project 1.  My goal is to create a four part (or four scene) short science fiction film utilizing all of the skills I have learned so far, while learning some new ones in the process.

Each of the four scenes should work as standalone visual effects shots, although  when put together they make sense and have an overall story arc and continuity.

This year I am studying visual effects and compositing, and rather than take an elective in 3D modeling I have opted for independent study in 3D particle systems and matchmoving.

I am going to be working on Professional Project 1 (Fall) and 2 (Winter) for Visual Effects.  I will also work on  two major projects for my independent studies.  I am integrating these into my Professional Projects as there will be considerable crossover in each of the scenes.  In other words, most scenes will contain some particle effects, modeling, matchmoving, tracking and other visual effects and compositing work.

I am currently in the project planning stage and will have further updates over the coming days, including some conceptual ideas and designs, as well as storyboards.
